Many of our clients have multiple users, and wish to track which user added a reservation. We already do this with our Activity section, but now we have added another way, through a custom field. This is makes it easy to run reports to see which users added which reservations. Our users that requested this especially wanted this feature in order to track commissions owed to sales people.
In order to set this up, first make sure you have added all your users (Settings, Users).
Then go to the Website tab, Custom Fields. Select “Add Custom Field.”
Select “Drop Down Selection of ReservationKey Users.
Review the settings and save. We recommend leaving no user selected, so that the currently logged in user will be set as default for new reservations.
