ReservationKey Account Settings User Guide

1. Overview

The Account Settings section, under the Settings tab, allows you to manage various aspects of your account.

2. Account Information

Here, you can configure your business details, including:

  • Business Name
  • Page Alias (used in your reservation page URL)
  • Business Address & Phone Number
  • Primary Email (for official communications)
  • Invoice Email (if separate from primary email)
  • Website URL

3. Payment Method

Choose from three payment methods:

  • Credit Card: Click “Update Card” to modify or “Change Card” to replace.
  • Bank Account: Enter routing and account numbers.
  • PayPal: Redirects you to PayPal for setup.

Monthly and yearly billing options are available (no discount for yearly payments).

4. Payment History

View and download past invoices in PDF format.

5. Verified Email Address

For $2/month ($24/year), this service allows emails to appear from your own email address. After payment, you’ll receive a verification link (valid for 24 hours). If needed, add a new address as existing ones cannot be edited.

6. Custom Theme

A one-time $99 fee includes about one hour of customization to match your website’s style. Provide your website URL and select the reservation page for the theme.

7. Change Your Plan

You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your plan at any time:

  • Upgrading/downgrading adjusts the number of units managed.
  • Switching plans mid-year forfeits any remaining balance.
  • Cancellation is irreversible, and all data is permanently deleted.

Where in the system is my account alias used? What happens if no alias is entered?

The alias is used in your reservation pages URL. If no alias is entered your account ID number will be used instead.

Where in the system are the other fields (address, phone, email) used?

If the other fields are used which can be added to email templates.

How do I change my plan?

Under a account settings, select a different plan and then click the change plan button. You will be redirected to PayPal to update your subscription. If you need to change to a less expensive plan that have more rooms and that a plan allows for, you will first be prompted to remove some rooms from your account.

How do I know what plan I need?

The plan that you need depends on the total number of units you plan fractions and rooms both count as one unit each. You should add up all of the units you have to determine how many units you need.
